Luxury Art Magazines Set to Reach Ultra-Affluent Travelers via Private Jet Terminals

Two premier art publications, American Art Collector and Western Art Collector, are broadening their reach by partnering with Media Jet to distribute their magazines at private jet terminal newsstands across the United States. Starting in April 2025, the magazines will be available in more than 70 private airport hubs, connecting with an estimated 400,000 passengers in key business and leisure destinations.

The strategic collaboration aims to connect high-end art collectors with contemporary artists and galleries. Published by International Artist Publishing, these magazines have been instrumental in previewing art shows and providing collectors with early access to emerging and established artists since their inception in 2005.

The expanded distribution will cover major metropolitan areas including Dallas, Scottsdale, Los Angeles, New York, Boca Raton, Santa Fe, San Francisco, and several other prominent cities. This move represents a targeted approach to reaching discerning art collectors who frequently travel via private aviation.

Publishers Wendie Martin and Adolfo Castillo emphasize that their goal extends beyond simple distribution. By placing their magazines in private jet terminals, they are creating opportunities for collectors to discover and acquire exceptional contemporary art across various market segments.

The distribution strategy complements the magazines' existing channels, which include paid subscriptions, retail bookstores like Barnes & Noble, and representation at more than 80 major art events nationwide. This multi-pronged approach ensures comprehensive coverage and accessibility for art enthusiasts and serious collectors alike.
