Main Event's first Minnesota location launches a community-wide scavenger hunt for 10 missing bowling pins before its August 3 grand opening, offering prizes including VIP invites and free games.

Main Event, the family entertainment chain, is facing an unusual setback ahead of its August 3 grand opening in Woodbury, Minnesota: 10 bowling pins have gone missing. The company is turning to the local community for help, launching a scavenger hunt from July 19 to July 28 to locate the pins and win prizes.
The missing shipment never reached its final destination at the new venue located at Tamarack Hills (540 Bielenberg Drive). Starting July 19, daily clues will be posted online for participants to track down the hidden pins throughout Woodbury. Each recovered pin unlocks a VIP invite for five people and a full year of free games. The finder of the Golden Pin will win the ultimate prize: Main Event for life.
“We are so excited to bring the Main Event experience to Minnesota, but we need the community's detective skills to help us get our lanes ready for action,” said Michael Frisby, General Manager of the Woodbury Main Event. “We've hidden these pins throughout Woodbury, and we can't wait to see who can track them down and claim their prize before our grand opening on August 3!”
The Woodbury location will offer a range of activities including laser tag, bowling, arcade games, and virtual reality. Guests can dine at the full-service restaurant and bar, which features items like the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich, Funnel Cake Fries, and drinks such as the Cotton Candy Shirley Temple and Margarita Flight. The venue aims to provide an all-in-one entertainment experience for families and friends.
