Mainly Mozart's 2025 All-Star Orchestra Festival Assembles Elite Musicians from Across the Nation

The 2025 Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra Festival will unite concertmasters and principal musicians from 28 leading orchestras across the United States, creating a unique musical ensemble under the direction of Maestro Michael Francis. The festival represents an extraordinary gathering of classical music's most talented performers, offering audiences an unprecedented opportunity to experience world-class musicians performing together.

From June 18-28, the orchestra will perform six concerts at two La Jolla venues: the Epstein Family Amphitheater and The Conrad. The performances will feature a diverse repertoire spanning classical masterworks, including compositions by Mozart, Beethoven, Stravinsky, and contemporary pieces like Noah Bendix-Balgley's A Klezmer Concerto.

This year's roster includes principal musicians from prestigious orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, and Philadelphia Orchestra. The collaborative nature of the festival allows musicians who typically perform with their home orchestras to create a singular, exceptional musical experience.

The performances showcase not only technical excellence but also the collaborative spirit of classical music. Featured works include Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, and a special performance of Strauss' Duet Concertino featuring Boris Allakhverdyan and Whitney Crockett.
