MAKE LLC Appoints Acclaimed Animator Adam Musa Othman as Lead Animator for Studio Productions

In collaboration with the prestigious LightBox Expo, a major international gathering of animation and game industry professionals, MAKE is producing a series of marketing and social videos that capture the spirit of creativity the expo inspires. Othman leads the animation effort on this campaign, guiding visual development, creating storyboards and animatics, and shaping the project's movement and tone from conception to final delivery across digital platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

An original science fiction parody series from MAKE Originals, Sunny Side Down takes viewers to a surreal diner orbiting a black hole, with hilariously doomed sci-fi characters in each episode. Othman serves as Lead Animator across all six episodes, integrating storyboarding, animatic development, character acting and timing, and clean-up animation. Collaborating closely with MAKE's acclaimed 2D team, he ensures the episodes maintain their sharp comedic timing and visual clarity.

This 2D animated short film is an adaptation of a first-prize winning story from a contest hosted by Flash Fiction Magazine. Othman's role involves transforming the literary work into a compelling visual narrative by overseeing storyboarding, visual design, and character animation. His contribution helps elevate the short into an emotionally resonant and graphically polished cinematic piece.
