The company recovered an additional 57 meters of core from depths reaching 2,397 meters, with “exotic terrane” rocks producing the highest natural hydrogen gas detection readings recorded to date at Lawson, along with continued helium spikes. Drilling has resumed beyond 2,400 meters, and the first 120 meters of core have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories for detailed analysis.

These results strengthen the geological model for Canada’s first confirmed subsurface natural hydrogen discovery and support efforts to determine whether the system has the scale, continuity and reservoir characteristics required for commercial development.
