Meridian Holdings Announces Leadership Appointments to Drive Global Expansion

Meridian Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN) announced a series of executive and board appointments following a board-led succession process, positioning the company for its next phase of disciplined execution and international growth. Zoran Milosevic, who has led Meridianbet for more than 18 years, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Meridian Holdings, while continuing as CEO of Meridianbet. William Scott, who served as Interim CEO since late 2025, transitions to Chief Financial Officer while retaining his role as Chairman of the Board. Michael Prescott has been appointed as an Independent Director and will serve on the Audit Committee, strengthening governance and regulatory oversight.

The changes come as the company seeks to align operating leadership, financial stewardship, and independent oversight with its growth strategy. Scott noted that over the past seven months, the team has worked to strengthen operational and financial foundations. The new structure gives Milosevic clear accountability for day-to-day execution while Scott focuses on financial stewardship, capital allocation, and board leadership. Prescott’s appointment adds independent expertise in governance and audit oversight.

Milosevic’s extensive experience includes overseeing Meridianbet’s development into the principal operating business of Meridian Holdings and a key growth driver. Prior to Meridianbet, he held public governance roles in Serbia, including service on the Board of the National Lottery and as a Member of the Serbian National Assembly. Scott, a South African Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of experience, brings expertise in financial management, capital markets, and regulated industries, having held senior roles at GTECH/Lottomatica and board positions at Ithuba, South Africa’s National Lottery. Prescott, with a background as General Counsel at GTECH and IGT and partnership roles at major international law firms, strengthens the board’s capabilities in public company securities, cross-border M&A, and international gaming regulation.

In connection with these changes, Rich Christensen, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, is leaving. The board thanked Christensen for his service. The appointments follow Meridian’s second-quarter 2026 results and reflect a continued focus on disciplined execution, governance, and sustainable growth. The company remains an established B2B and B2C gaming technology group operating across more than 20 regulated markets, with subsidiaries including Meridianbet, Expanse Studios, GMAG, RKings Competitions, MexPlay, and Classics for a Cause.
