Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. has acquired the 4,465-hectare Mehmet Property in Northern Quebec, a significant development for critical mineral exploration featuring rare earth element concentrations of 2,157.1 ppm in a geological structure with potential strategic importance.

Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. has acquired mining claims on a rare earth prospect in Northern Quebec through map staking, covering approximately 4,465 hectares of the Mehmet Property. The property is situated about 163 kilometers east of Schefferville on the Quebec-Labrador border and represents a circular magnetic structure approximately 10 kilometers across classified by the Quebec Government as hyperalkaline rock with associated rare metals. This acquisition demonstrates Noble's commitment to exploring for critical minerals in Canada at a time when global demand for rare earth elements continues to grow.
The geological significance of the Mehmet Property lies in its mineralization within an alkali feldspar and clinopyroxene syenite containing abnormally high amounts of allanite crystals and numerous allanite-filled microfractures. The rock type is described as fractured alkali feldspar syenite with clinopyroxene, allanite, apatite, fluorite and magnetite. Rock analyses conducted by the Quebec Government, including sample 1986016233 from the Sigeom database, revealed substantial concentrations of strategic minerals: 2,157.1 ppm total rare earth elements with 114.4 ppm being heavy rare earth elements, 2,144.6 ppm zirconium, 392.7 ppm neodymium, 135.3 ppm yttrium, 26.1 ppm thorium, and 71.5 ppm niobium.
The property's location provides additional strategic importance, positioned approximately 65 kilometers southwest of the Crater Lake Property where Scandium Canada has defined a rare earth and scandium resource. This regional context suggests potential for similar mineralization patterns across the area, though very little exploration work has been conducted on the Mehmet Property beyond the initial government sampling. The technical information in the news release has been reviewed and approved by Wayne Holmstead, P.Geo (OGQ#10434), a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
This acquisition occurs within a broader context of increasing focus on North American critical mineral supply chains, with rare earth elements being essential components for modern technologies including electronics, renewable energy systems, and defense applications. The property's substantial rare earth element concentrations, particularly the presence of heavy rare earth elements which are among the most strategically important and scarce, positions it as a potentially significant asset in Canada's emerging critical minerals portfolio. More detailed information about Noble's exploration activities is available through their corporate communications and regulatory filings.
