Onco-Innovations Limited (CBOE CA: ONCO) (OTCQB: ONNVF) (Frankfurt: W1H) (WKN: A3EKSZ) announced the successful advancement of kilogram-scale manufacturing activities for the B4 precursor component used in the development of ONC010, the company’s lead nanoparticle-formulated Polynucleotide Kinase Phosphatase (PNKP) inhibitor technology. Conducted through its chemistry, manufacturing and controls collaboration with Dalton Pharma Services, the effort resulted in the production and isolation of approximately 952 grams of B4 material, supporting future formulation development, GMP production and planned clinical studies.
The company said the manufacturing milestone strengthens its integrated development strategy and supports the establishment of a scalable production process for future clinical supply. Onco-Innovations also announced the engagement of InvestorBrandNetwork (IBN) to provide market awareness, corporate communications and digital media services through Sept. 30, 2026, or until budget exhaustion. The company will pay IBN an aggregate cash fee of US$76,500 for the services and intends to apply an unused US$80,000 balance returned from a prior market awareness engagement toward the consideration.
This milestone is significant for Onco-Innovations as it demonstrates the feasibility of producing the B4 precursor at a scale necessary for clinical trials and eventual commercial supply. The ONC010 program targets solid tumors by inhibiting PNKP, an enzyme involved in DNA repair, potentially enhancing the efficacy of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
