Open Hand Atlanta is set to host its 22nd annual Party in the Kitchen fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, featuring an evening of culinary excellence, live auctions, and entertainment to support its mission of delivering nutritious meals to individuals facing food insecurity and health challenges. The event, co-chaired by renowned chefs Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun, along with new co-chairs Marc Castillo, Heather Froy, and Victor Macias, will showcase signature dishes from Atlanta's top culinary talents, including Terry Koval, Pat Pascarella, and Tyler Haake.

Matthew Pieper, CEO of Open Hand, expressed gratitude for the chefs' participation, highlighting their role in advancing the organization's efforts to provide thousands of meals to those in need. The fundraiser also includes a VIP Patron Reception on Aug. 21 at the James A. Carlos Family Community Nutrition Center, offering sponsors and patrons an exclusive preview of the impact their contributions make.

Proceeds from the event will directly fund Open Hand's programs, which offer medically tailored meals and nutrition education to vulnerable populations across Georgia. Tickets for the main event are priced at $300, with patron packages starting at $2,000, providing access to both the VIP reception and the main event.
