The Operation Best Foot Forward program is launching a two-week crosswalk safety awareness campaign across nine Central Florida counties, targeting drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians in school zones. From July 29 to August 8, 2025, plainclothes officers will monitor marked crosswalks, issuing citations to non-compliant drivers.
