Pacific Marine Expo Returns to Seattle with Renewed Focus on Innovation and Industry Celebration

The West Coast's largest commercial marine trade show will return to Seattle's Lumen Field Event Center this November, offering an extensive platform for maritime industry professionals to connect, learn, and celebrate their sector's achievements. The 2025 Pacific Marine Expo (PME) will run from November 20-22, featuring a diverse array of programming designed to highlight technological advancements, industry challenges, and professional development.

This year's expo will introduce several notable enhancements, including the WorkBoat West dedicated area focusing on shipyard operations, vessel construction, and repair. In collaboration with Washington Maritime Blue, the event will host the Maritime Blue Innovation Hub, a dedicated space showcasing sustainable solutions and emerging technologies transforming the maritime economy.

A significant update to the event's programming includes the reimagined National Fisherman Highliner Awards. Previously a traditional ceremony, the awards will now be a ticketed dinner event on the second day, providing a more celebratory platform to honor outstanding leaders in commercial fishing.

The expo will also offer practical educational opportunities, such as the Fishing Vessel Stability Workshop presented by the Alaska Marine Safety Education Association. These 30-minute hands-on sessions will provide critical training for fishermen on understanding and applying vessel stability principles.

Organizers are emphasizing the event's role in workforce development and industry engagement. By partnering with the Port of Seattle, PME will continue to welcome maritime high school students, introducing the next generation to potential careers and opportunities within the maritime sector.

The event will feature an extensive Expo Market Center, showcasing maritime art, retail goods, and handmade items from local vendors. Attendees can expect a robust lineup of free educational content, including keynote speeches, technical sessions, panel discussions, and workshops curated by National Fisherman.

Event Director Lauren Streeter highlighted the expo's significance, noting it provides an ideal opportunity for companies to showcase brands, engage with key decision-makers, and strengthen community connections within the commercial marine industry.
