PNE Group Secures 22 MW Wind Farm in Competitive French Tender

The PNE Group has been awarded the contract for the 'Oinville-Saint-Liphard' wind farm in France, prevailing in a highly competitive tender round. The project, located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, comprises four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 megawatts. This success underscores the importance of France as a core market for the PNE Group and validates its strategic focus on the region.

The tender, the eleventh under the PPE2 programme, attracted 144 bids with an aggregate capacity of 2.38 gigawatts, but only 39 projects totaling 808 megawatts were selected. PNE France was among the eleven winning developers, securing approval for the Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm. The project had received its permit in May, just in time for the tender submission, with the approval process completed in only 15 months.

The French government relaunched tenders in early April 2026, shortly after publishing the multiannual energy plan PPE3. The timing was crucial for PNE, as the Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm had just received approval, enabling its participation.
