Powermax Minerals Inc. has completed its 2026 field program at the Cameron REE Project, collecting 250 samples to refine targets for potential future drilling, marking a significant step in the exploration of critical minerals.

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has announced the completion of its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The program, conducted in July and August, aimed to expand geological and geochemical coverage of areas identified through previous sampling, mapped pegmatites, geological contacts, and drainage catchments.
The company collected 250 samples in total, comprising 50 rock-chip, 50 soil, and 150 stream-sediment samples. These have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories in Calgary for analysis. The field program included geological mapping, prospecting, rock-chip sampling, soil sampling, stream-sediment sampling, and handheld radiometric screening across priority target areas.
This work is crucial for the advancement of the Cameron REE Project, as rare earth elements are essential for modern technologies, including electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense systems. With global demand for REEs rising and supply chains heavily reliant on China, projects like Cameron are strategically important for North American supply security. The completion of this program marks a significant step in evaluating the project's potential and moving toward possible resource definition.
Powermax plans to integrate the analytical data with geological and radiometric field information once laboratory results are received and the QA/QC review is complete. This will allow the company to refine and rank targets for potential additional surface work, trenching, or future drill evaluation. The systematic approach demonstrates the company's commitment to thorough exploration and de-risking of the project.
The Cameron REE Property comprises three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares in British Columbia. The project is situated in a region known for its geological potential for rare earth mineralization. The company's exploration efforts are focused on identifying high-grade zones that could be economically viable.
Powermax Minerals also holds options on other REE properties, including the Atikokan REE Property in NW Ontario (455 unpatented mining claims) and the Pinard REE Property in Northern Ontario (5,178 hectares). Additionally, the company owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming. This diversified portfolio positions Powermax as a multi-asset explorer in the critical minerals sector.
The completion of the 2026 field program is a key milestone for Powermax. The results from the 250 samples will provide crucial data to guide future exploration decisions. Investors and stakeholders will be watching closely for the assay results, which are expected to be released in the coming months. Positive results could lead to a significant re-rating of the company as it advances its flagship Cameron project.
