Pure Flix Familia Sponsors Chicano Hollywood Film Festival, Eyes Latino Storytellers

The Chicano Hollywood Film Festival announced that Pure Flix Familia, the upcoming Spanish-language streaming platform from Great American Media, will serve as an official media sponsor for its second annual event, scheduled for July 31 through August 2 in Pomona, California.

Pure Flix Familia's involvement includes presenting a fireside chat titled "Faith, Family & the Future: Introducing Pure Flix Familia," hosted by festival founder Johnny Murillo. The session will feature Great American Media executives discussing the platform's vision, its commitment to faith- and family-focused programming, and plans to collaborate with Latino filmmakers on original content. The discussion will also address the evolving landscape of faith-based entertainment and the importance of culturally relevant stories for Latino audiences.

In addition to the fireside chat, Pure Flix Familia will host a "Spill the Café Storyteller Lounge" where attendees can learn about the platform's upcoming launch and its vision for engaging with the Latino creative community. The platform will also sponsor the festival's Community Impact Legacy Award, presented during the closing night ceremonies on August 2, honoring individuals who demonstrate leadership and service in strengthening families and communities.
