Q-NEX Launches Smart Lectern SL100 for More Professional Presentation Spaces

In the evolving landscape of professional presentations, traditional lecterns are increasingly inadequate, often serving merely as physical workspaces while presenters juggle multiple devices and control systems. Addressing this challenge, Returnstar Technology has unveiled the Q-NEX Smart Lectern SL100, an integrated digital podium designed to streamline presentation and AV operations in corporate, training, and seminar settings.

The SL100 incorporates a three-screen design that consolidates audience communication, content interaction, and system control. A dedicated 23.8-inch Full HD front-facing display provides a clear canvas for meeting information, event schedules, and welcome messages, eliminating the need for separate playback devices. Content can be delivered via USB or updated remotely through a mobile app, simplifying content management. For presenters, the integrated 23.8-inch interactive pen and touch display with a built-in Windows PC allows direct access and annotation of presentation materials, supporting Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) pens for natural writing. This reduces reliance on external laptops and interactive displays, offering a seamless and familiar experience.

AV control is also simplified with the SL100's integrated control panel, which manages 3x3 matrix switching, device control, presentation timing, and audio adjustment. Crucially, these core controls operate without an internet connection, ensuring reliability even in complex network environments. For organizations managing multiple presentation spaces, the SL100 extends beyond local operation through integration with the Q-NEX Platform, enabling remote management via a web console or mobile app. This capability allows administrators to oversee the lectern and connected devices from a central location, streamlining maintenance across various venues.

The SL100 joins the Q-NEX digital podium series, which includes the freestanding NDP200 for larger spaces like auditoriums and the desktop NDP600 for classrooms with existing lecterns. The SL100, with its front-facing digital signage and network-independent control, is particularly suited for formal settings such as executive meeting rooms, professional training centers, and seminar halls.
