Ralph Lauren Announces Board of Directors Update with Angela Ahrendts as New Lead Independent Director

Ralph Lauren Corporation announced the appointment of Angela Ahrendts as the new Lead Independent Director, effective after the Company's 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Ahrendts, who has been a part of the Ralph Lauren Board since August 2018, will succeed Hubert Joly, who will not seek reelection after 16 years of service. Joly's tenure was marked by significant contributions to the Board's diversity and strategic direction.

Ahrendts currently serves as the Finance Committee chair and is a member of the Nominating, Governance, and Sustainability Committee. Her appointment is seen as a continuation of the Board's evolution, bringing in diverse backgrounds and skills to guide the company's future. Ralph Lauren, Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, praised Joly's dedication and leadership, while expressing confidence in Ahrendts' ability to contribute to the company's success in her new role.
