REMSleep Holdings Announces Leadership Transition Following Founder's Passing, Positions for Commercial Growth

REMSleep Holdings Inc., a medical device company focused on innovative sleep apnea treatment solutions, announced the passing of its founder Thomas Wood and the appointment of Jeffrey Marshall as Chief Executive Officer. Thomas Wood, who founded REMSleep and served as Chairman and CEO, passed away on February 26, 2026, after dedicating his career to developing better solutions for sleep apnea patients. His work began in 1981 with his first U.S. patent for a Nasal Air interface, eventually leading to 26 patents for CPAP interface components and the formation of REMSleep Holdings Inc. to develop the DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System.

Under Wood's leadership, REMSleep achieved significant milestones including FDA 510(k) clearance for the DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System, PDAC coding approval enabling Medicare reimbursement, and the buildout of manufacturing and distribution infrastructure. The company is now positioned for commercial launch and market entry. Anita Michaels, who has been elected Chairman of the Board, stated that Wood was a visionary and patient advocate who believed sleep apnea patients deserved better options, noting that his legacy lives on in the DeltaWave technology and the company's commitment to bringing this innovation to patients.

The leadership transition was planned by Wood prior to his passing, working alongside his sister Anita Michaels, who served as COO and is now majority shareholder and Chairman, and incoming CEO Jeff Marshall to establish the people, systems, and strategy for continuity. Marshall brings extensive industry experience in sales, marketing, business development, and commercial strategy to lead REMSleep's next growth phase, having served as a strategy consultant to the company since September 2025. The Board of Directors has been reconstituted with Alexander Johnson appointed as Director, bringing expertise in corporate restructuring, capital markets, and public company compliance.

Jeffrey Marshall stated that this transition represents a pivotal moment for REMSleep, with the foundation built by Wood including FDA clearance, Medicare approval, and a differentiated product now ready for commercial execution. Marshall emphasized immediate priorities of driving sales through strategic marketing plans to gain brand awareness and bring DeltaWave to patients nationwide, while building partnerships with Durable Medical Equipment providers, physicians, sleep labs, and the sleep community. The DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System is commercially available and represents the first product in what management envisions as a broader portfolio built on Wood's patented technologies.

Beyond sleep apnea, Wood's vision extended to applying the same engineering principles to help patients with other chronic respiratory and neurological diseases, which is now part of the company's strategic roadmap. Anita Michaels noted that while Wood's passing is a profound loss, his work continues with the responsibility to shareholders, sleep apnea patients, and his memory to deliver on the promise of DeltaWave technology and develop the product pipeline he envisioned.
