Rocky Mountain Dog Launches Okanagan-Inspired Leash and Collar Collection

Rocky Mountain Dog today announced the launch of two new additions to its All Mountain collection: the Okanagan All Mountain Dog Leash and the Okanagan Alpine Dog Collar, both inspired by one of British Columbia's most iconic regions, the Okanagan Valley. Blending performance-driven design with regional storytelling, the new products celebrate the landscapes, history, and culture of the Okanagan, an area known for its sunny climate, rolling vineyards, and lakefront trails.

The design draws inspiration from the region's most recognizable elements, including the Okanagan Valley, the shimmering waters of Okanagan Lake, vineyards and orchard farms, and the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail with its iconic trestle bridges. It also nods to local folklore through the legendary lake creature Ogopogo, a cultural symbol deeply rooted in the region's identity.

The new Okanagan Leash and Collar are available for sale on Rocky Mountain Dog's website and will soon be available through their retail partners.

The Okanagan All Mountain Dog Leash is engineered for active dog owners who demand versatility and control without sacrificing comfort. Designed for hiking, running, and everyday walks, the leash offers multiple carrying configurations, including hands-free waist and cross-body use. Key features include a zero-shock bungee section to reduce pulling strain, a neoprene-cushioned handle for comfort on long outings, a quick-grab traffic handle for close control, and integrated accessory attachment points for convenience on the go. Built from adventure-grade, weather-resistant webbing, the leash is made to perform in all conditions, from rainy city streets to rugged mountain trails. It is available in two lengths: 6 ft (1.8 m) for enhanced control and 8 ft (2.4 m) for added freedom.

The Okanagan Alpine Dog Collar continues the Alpine series' focus on everyday reliability and outdoor durability. Designed for dogs who move seamlessly between urban environments and outdoor adventures, the collar prioritizes comfort, strength, and simplicity. Constructed with lightweight yet durable materials, it features adventure-grade webbing, a secure aluminum D-ring for leash attachment, and a dedicated ID tag holder designed to reduce noise during movement. At 25 mm (1 in) wide, it offers a balanced fit suitable for a wide range of dogs.
