Samantha Allen Appointed as FinServ Foundation's New Mentorship Program Director

The FinServ Foundation has selected Samantha Allen, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Merit Financial Advisors, as its new Mentorship Program Director. Allen will spearhead efforts to support and develop emerging talent in the financial services sector through the organization's comprehensive fellowship program.

With over a decade of experience in financial services and marketing leadership, Allen brings extensive expertise to her new role. She will be responsible for driving the foundation's mentorship initiatives, which currently impact more than 600 FinServ Fellows across 40 colleges and universities.

The foundation's fellowship program offers NextGen leaders significant professional development opportunities, including two years of group coaching, a six-month structured mentorship program, and fully covered conference experiences. These initiatives aim to improve industry retention by providing comprehensive support for young professionals entering the financial services field.

Jamie Hopkins, President of FinServ Foundation, praised Allen's appointment, highlighting her dedication and talent in supporting emerging industry professionals. Allen succeeds Kellan Brown, who developed the initial mentorship program before transitioning to a leadership role at 100 Women in Finance.

Allen's background includes senior marketing positions at prominent organizations such as Carson Group, FiComm Partners, and TD Ameritrade. Her current role at Merit Financial Advisors involves leading marketing strategy, brand development, and client engagement initiatives.
