Schaeffler Automotive Symposium Showcases Expanded Portfolio and Systems Expertise for Future Mobility

The 13th Schaeffler Automotive Symposium, held from June 15 to 17, 2026, at the new Project and Technology Center in Bühl, Germany, marks a significant milestone for the Motion Technology Company. For the first time, Schaeffler is showcasing its expanded product portfolio and comprehensive systems understanding, resulting from the successful integration of Vitesco Technologies. The event, themed “Beyond Driving. Innovation made by Schaeffler,” brings together over 300 customers to explore innovations in vehicle control, chassis and body, powertrain, and energy management.

Klaus Rosenfeld, CEO of Schaeffler AG, emphasized the importance of the symposium: “Traditionally, the Schaeffler Automotive Symposium stands for lively discussions with customers and the opportunity to experience innovations and new technologies first-hand. As a motion technology company, we will present the expanded competencies and product portfolio combining our strengths in mechanical engineering and mechatronics with new complementary expertise in electronics and sensors.” By 2035, Schaeffler aims to generate 10 percent of its revenue in new segments, while maintaining its core automotive business as indispensable.

The transformation of mobility and heterogeneous market developments globally demand high innovative capacity and resilience. Thomas Stierle, CEO E-Mobility at Schaeffler AG, stated: “With our broad portfolio, our global presence and local supply chains, and our pronounced systems expertise, we consistently transfer innovations to mass production. In this way, we are actively advancing the mobility transformation – toward higher efficiency and comprehensive electrification.”

Matthias Zink, CEO Powertrain & Chassis at Schaeffler AG, highlighted the company’s role as a technology partner: “At the symposium, we will present integrated product innovations for cars, trucks, and two-wheelers from a single source and show how Schaeffler supports customers as a preferred technology partner with extensive systems expertise and a high level of vertical integration.” The company’s system-based approach links functions intelligently to enhance the driving experience.

Over 320 products are on display, grouped into four technology clusters for passenger cars: Vehicle Control, Chassis & Body, Powertrain, and Energy Management. For commercial vehicles, Schaeffler presents zero-emission solutions for battery-electric and fuel cell-electric vehicles (BEVs and FCEVs) and hydrogen-powered internal combustion engines (H2-ICE). The two-wheeler segment features bearings, engine control units, automatic transmissions, and connectivity solutions.

The global customer event, held every four years, continues with stops in Detroit (USA) on September 17, Suzhou (China) from November 4 to 6, and Tokyo (Japan) on December 2 to 3. More information can be found in the press conference recording at www.schaeffler.com/en/executive-board.
