Seven concurrent mega events organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council will open next week, showcasing global innovations in gifts, homeware, fashion, printing, packaging, and licensing while introducing new themed floors and e-commerce support services to reinforce Hong Kong's role as a creative and business hub.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will open seven annual lifestyle and licensing mega events next week, expected to attract about 5,600 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions. The events include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, and Fashion InStyle from April 27-30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC); the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong co-organized with CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Limited at AsiaWorld-Expo from April 27-30; and the Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference at the HKCEC from April 27-29. Global exhibitors will showcase offerings spanning gifts and premiums, houseware, fashion, innovative materials, gerontechnology, cultural and creative design products, sustainable products, green printing and packaging, and intellectual property.
HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Jenny Koo stated that the concurrent timing allows buyers a one-stop sourcing experience across all fairs, fostering cross-industry exchanges and generating synergies to expand business opportunities. The events leverage Hong Kong's connectivity between the Chinese Mainland and international markets, aligning with the national 15th Five-Year Plan and dual circulation development strategy. First-time exhibitors include participants from Finland, Germany, Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan. New pavilions feature regions such as Xinjiang, Wuhan, Shanxi, Jilin, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Zhejiang, Fujian Quanzhou, Jiangsu Sheyang, India, and Indonesia.
This year, HKCEC Hall 5 transforms into a Reimagine themed floor, connecting the Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle to present future lifestyle visions. The floor includes highlighted zones like the Gifts & Premium Fair's new Selection of ASEAN and The Bespoke Hub, the Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards, Home InStyle's Cultural and Creative Avenue, and the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion. The Cultural and Creative Avenue partners with Pantone, using the PANTONE 2026 Colour of the Year "Cloud Dancer" as its theme. Over 820 green exhibitors will participate across the seven fairs, with about 80 showcasing innovative material products in houseware, home textiles, fashion, printing, and packaging.
Home InStyle debuts innovative materials applied to homeware and home textiles, alongside gerontech living products in the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion, funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission. A series of events will cover the silver economy, market trends, culture and innovation, and sustainability. The HKTDC will co-organize a thematic seminar with the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and the Hong Kong Q-Mark Council on responding to the silver market through the "Silver Q Mark" and certified gerontech products. On sustainability, the Business Environment Council and eco-conscious enterprise representatives will analyze trends in sustainable home and gift design.
Fashion InStyle features multiple exhibition zones, including Designer Spotlight, Materials Bazaar, and Athleisure. Its highlighted zone, NEXT@Fashion InStyle (NEXT), sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), returns to demonstrate how materials innovation drives industry transformation and sustainability. The Philippines is NEXT's featured partner, with over 25 Philippine exhibitors showcasing local fashion materials through The Philippine Trade and Investment Centre – Hong Kong (PTIC-HK) and the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM). NEXT also includes over 60 global exhibitors from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Iceland, Finland, and Sweden. Project ambassador Han Chong, founder of Self-Portrait, will lead six local designer brands in developing cross-disciplinary projects exploring cultural & heritage, sustainability, and technology and functionality, unveiled at the NEXT Fashion Parade on April 28.
The Printing & Packaging Fair introduces smart packaging and innovative materials, focusing on RFID and anti-counterfeiting technologies, with exhibitors presenting plant-based or bio-based materials. The Green Printing & Packaging Solutions Zone facilitates eco-friendly options. DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong focuses on premium printing and packaging for high-end goods like jewellery and cosmetics, showcasing designs for luxury brands and six-star hotels. Seminars will cover AI, sustainability, and creative design, with representatives from FUJIFILM and BW Design Centre sharing insights on AI applications.
The Hong Kong International Licensing Show, in its 23rd edition, brings together over 600 brands and intellectual properties from multiple countries, including Bandai Namco, Doraemon, and LINE FRIENDS. The Design Licensing and Business (DLAB) Support Scheme, sponsored by the CCIDA, participates with the DLAB Hong Kong Pavilion showcasing nearly 40 local IPs and brands. Some IPs, like Animomo and Emo Neko Club, tap into the "emotional economy" concept. The show introduces a dedicated "IP and e-Commerce Support Services" Zone, aligning with the HKSAR Government's policy to enhance Hong Kong companies' competitiveness on cross-border e-commerce platforms. It brings together e-commerce platforms, KOLs, and marketing firms to help brands expand into e-commerce markets.
The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference, themed "Connecting Creativity, Unlocking Licensing Power," explores global licensing market developments. Topics include "Global Licensing Trends to Watch in 2026" and "VTubers: Redefining Entertainment in the Digital Age." The seven exhibitions adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format, with "Click2Match" using AI for business matching and "Scan2Match" for QR code scanning. An AI-driven SmartBot service debuts on-site to help buyers search for products and generate personalized visit routes. For more information, visit http://mediaroom.hktdc.com/en.
