Shincheonji Church Claims Unprecedented Biblical Mastery Through Rigorous Examination Process

A religious organization is challenging conventional Christian educational practices by implementing an intensive biblical study and examination program that has yielded remarkable academic results. Shincheonji Church of Jesus reports a near-perfect comprehension rate among its membership, with weekly Bible examinations focusing specifically on prophetic texts and the Book of Revelation.

The church's educational approach involves mandatory biblical studies through the Zion Christian Mission Center, which has graduated over 100,000 students across four ceremonies. Members undergo rigorous weekly examinations centered on gospel prophecies, with recent data revealing exceptional academic performance. From January to April 2025, participants demonstrated a 97% participation rate and an average exam score of 99, with 99.9% of participants scoring above 90.

Despite facing allegations of being a cult, several former pastors have publicly endorsed the church's educational methodology. Pastor Kim, a recent convert, stated that Shincheonji's biblical education surpasses traditional religious instruction, enabling members to master biblical content from Genesis to Revelation at a level exceeding many clergy members' knowledge.

Pastor Gwang-seon Choi further emphasized the importance of comprehensive biblical education, criticizing religious institutions that fail to provide thorough scriptural understanding. He argued that church leadership has a fundamental responsibility to ensure congregants receive comprehensive theological instruction.

The church's approach represents a significant departure from traditional religious education models, challenging existing paradigms of biblical study and interpretation. By implementing a structured, examination-based learning system, Shincheonji Church of Jesus suggests a potentially transformative method for religious education and scriptural comprehension.
