Cloud security firm Sonrai Security has introduced a groundbreaking Just-in-Time (JIT) Access solution for Amazon Web Services, leveraging artificial intelligence to transform how organizations manage cloud permissions and mitigate security risks.

The new Cloud Permissions Firewall feature provides temporary, on-demand access privileges that adhere to zero-trust security principles. By eliminating standing privileges in production environments, the solution addresses a significant vulnerability in cloud infrastructure while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key innovations include AI-generated session summaries powered by Amazon Bedrock, which offer instant, comprehensive insights into privileged user activities without requiring manual log reviews or screen recordings. Unlike traditional Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools that often involve complex deployments and manual processes, Sonrai's solution is cloud-native and can be implemented rapidly. The company reports that the entire solution, including AI-driven session summaries, was developed in a matter of weeks.
