SS Innovations International announces over 10,500 cumulative surgeries performed using its SSi Mantra surgical robotic system, highlighting significant growth in global installed base and clinical validation.

SS Innovations International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSII) announced today that more than 10,500 cumulative surgeries have been successfully performed using its SSi Mantra surgical robotic system as of April 30, 2026. The milestone includes over 500 cardiac procedures, 170 telesurgeries, and 125 pediatric surgeries, reflecting the system's versatility across multiple specialties.
The company reported that approximately 2,100 physicians have been trained on the SSi Mantra, which has been used for more than 170 different types of procedures. Since its commercial launch in August 2022, the system's global installed base has expanded to over 200 systems across eleven countries, with a strong presence in the Indian market.
Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, Chairman and CEO of SS Innovations, stated, 'Reaching 10,500 cumulative surgeries in such a short time span reflects the SSi Mantra’s advanced technology, differentiated features, ease of training, user-friendliness, and clear cost advantages.' He emphasized the company's mission to democratize access to robotic surgical care.
The SSi Mantra is a modular, multi-arm system featuring 3 to 5 robotic arms, an open-faced ergonomic surgeon console, a 3D 4K monitor, and telesurgery capabilities via the optional SSi MantrAsana Tele Surgeon Console. The system utilizes over 40 different robotic endo-surgical instruments, including 5mm instruments for pediatric and ENT procedures.
This announcement underscores the growing adoption of robotic surgery in emerging markets, where cost-effective solutions like the SSi Mantra can expand access to minimally invasive procedures. The company's strategy focuses on affordability and training to address the global surgical robotics gap.
