Standard Lithium Project Earns Priority Status for Critical Mineral Production

Standard Lithium's South West Arkansas lithium project has been granted priority status by the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council, positioning the initiative as a key strategic asset in the United States' efforts to develop domestic critical mineral capabilities.

The project, developed through a joint venture with Equinor, was one of only three U.S. lithium projects—and the sole Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) initiative—to receive this distinguished designation under Executive Order 14241.
