Stewart Heating, Plumbing & Air Conditioning Donates Water Heater to Hugs for Harry Dog Rescue

Stewart Heating, Plumbing & Air Conditioning has donated and installed a 40-gallon electric water heater at Hugs for Harry Dog Rescue's new facility in Lafayette, California. The in-kind contribution addresses a critical infrastructure need for the nonprofit, which relocated to the site in January 2026. The water heater supports a new in-house laundry facility and dog washing station, both essential for maintaining sanitation, cleanliness, and proper grooming standards for the dogs in the rescue's care.

Hugs for Harry Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving and rehabilitating vulnerable dogs throughout the Bay Area. The organization rescues dogs from abandonment, medical neglect, and overcrowded shelters where they face euthanasia. The move to the Lafayette location provided additional space but also introduced infrastructure challenges, including the need for hot water and adequate plumbing. Financial limitations hindered progress until Stewart Heating, Plumbing & Air Conditioning stepped forward.
