Storagely's full platform rebuild, Storagely 3.0.1, gives self-storage operators more control, faster launches, and better performance, signaling a strategic shift from feature additions to foundational architecture.

Storagely 3.0.1 Rebuild Puts Operators in Control, Speeds Launches

Storagely, a website platform built for self-storage operators, has announced Storagely 3.0.1, a complete rebuild of its platform and the largest release in company history. The announcement matters because it represents a fundamental shift in how the company approaches operator needs, moving away from incremental feature additions toward a new architecture designed exclusively around the way self-storage businesses operate. Operators will see the platform publicly for the first time at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show, September 8th to 11th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, at Booth #1233.

The self-storage industry has evolved since Storagely entered it, and operators are now facing new questions and constraints. Rather than adding another round of features, the company decided to rebuild from the ground up. According to Austin Simmons, who was named Chief Executive Officer in April 2026, operators have consistently voiced three demands: they want to be more hands-on rather than stuck behind a support ticket, they want to launch a new location in days instead of weeks, and they want each facility to stand out in its own market. "We stopped just adding features and decided it's time to rebuild around those pain points," Simmons said.

The rebuild delivers more control through two key tools. FLEX, the platform's drag-and-drop editor, lets operators edit any block, swap layouts, and publish new pages in minutes without a developer. ATLAS, the new Location Profile Manager, consolidates every location's details—such as address, hours, pricing, photos, unit types, and amenities—into a single source of truth that automatically updates the website. With the new ATLAS Google Profile sync, a simple edit to a Google Business profile can update location details directly on the website. Together, these tools offer a faster path than the support ticket and allow customization that gives each facility its own identity instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.

Launch velocity also sees significant improvement. New sites now launch in weeks rather than months, and new locations come online in days rather than weeks. New features move just as fast. This new era of launch velocity allows operators to move at their own pace, stay agile, and make quick decisions when needed to move the needle.

Performance has been rebuilt from the ground up exclusively for self-storage, with modern architecture, faster load times across mobile and desktop, better page speed scores, and infrastructure that scales from a single store to hundreds of locations. All still paired with a newly imagined one-page checkout that has exciting new upgrades like the long-awaited merch shop and other upsell options.

Simmons, previously Chief Operating Officer and now CEO, led the rebuild in close partnership with Founder and Executive Chairman Brian Leimone, whose technical vision continues to drive the platform. Simmons has worked with Storagely across nearly a decade and several iterations of the business, including the years before it entered self-storage. "For years I've watched Austin grow from someone I believed in, into the leader Storagely needs today," Leimone said. "3.0.1 begins a new era for the company, and he's the right person to lead it."

Storagely will demo 3.0.1 at Booth #1233 across September 8th-11th at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show. Meetings can be booked in advance at storagely.io/schedule-a-demo. For more information, visit storagely.io.
