FlightHub Executive Ayoub Hissar noted the impact of diplomatic tensions on travel decisions, emphasizing that these choices reflect broader economic and political considerations. Younger Canadians showed some openness to revisiting their stance under improved diplomatic relations, though overall sentiment remains cautious. Economic incentives, such as reduced customs tariffs or a stronger Canadian dollar, had limited influence on travel intentions, underscoring the depth of current concerns.

In contrast, Canada's introduction of the Canada Strong Pass aims to attract tourists with benefits like free national park admission and museum entry, positioning Canada as an appealing alternative for both domestic and international travelers.
