Sweet Paris Crêperie Expands to Bridgeland Community in Cypress

Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café has opened a new location at Village Green in Bridgeland, bringing its French-inspired menu of sweet and savory crêpes, waffles, salads, and paninis to the Cypress community. The restaurant at 20240 Summit Point Crossing, Suite 150 represents the brand's eighth Houston-area location and 22nd store overall in its growing portfolio.

The Bridgeland location is owned by Mike Kelton, a local entrepreneur and one of the original Sweet Paris Strategic Partners who also operates the Sweet Paris locations in Austin and The Woodlands. Kelton transitioned from a 32-year career in the wine and spirits industry to restaurant ownership with Sweet Paris, opening his first location in 2018. He has developed a reputation for prioritizing team development and customer service, achieving strong employee retention and guest satisfaction metrics.

This expansion represents more than just business growth for Kelton, who views the new location as an opportunity to engage with the Bridgeland community. He emphasized the importance of supporting local youth programs and nonprofits while creating a gathering space for families and friends. The restaurant's hours are Sunday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sweet Paris continues to expand its national presence with 36 additional units in various stages of development across multiple states including Texas, Florida, Minnesota, Arizona, Tennessee, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama and Missouri. The brand's growth trajectory has been recognized industry-wide, with Sweet Paris ranking No. 68 on Fast Casual's 2025 Top 100 Movers & Shakers list.

Allison Chavez, CEO and Co-founder of Sweet Paris, highlighted the significance of the Houston market to the brand's identity and expansion strategy. Houston represents the birthplace of Sweet Paris and has shown consistent growth potential for the concept. The brand encourages guests to participate in their loyalty program through the Sweet Paris App and Sweet Paris Passport, which offers monthly promotions, birthday bonuses, and reward opportunities.
