Sweetgrass Pediatrics has acquired Inlet Pediatrics, expanding access to comprehensive pediatric services including telemedicine and behavioral health for families in the rapidly growing Grand Strand region.

Sweetgrass Pediatrics has expanded its coastal reach with the addition of Inlet Pediatrics, now operating as Sweetgrass Pediatrics at the Inlet. The practice, located at 140 Bandage Court in Murrells Inlet, has served families in the community for nearly 20 years and will continue under the leadership of Dr. Amanda Drosieko, MD, who has earned a reputation for compassionate, family-centered pediatric care. Dr. Drosieko, along with nurse practitioner Dawn Fox, will remain with the practice, ensuring continuity and trust through this transition for local families.
This strategic expansion strengthens Sweetgrass Pediatrics' presence in the rapidly growing Grand Strand region, bringing greater convenience, access, and coordinated pediatric services to area families. The updated office hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch closure from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Families at the newly named Sweetgrass Pediatrics at the Inlet will now have access to enhanced services including telemedicine options, behavioral health and counseling specialists, online appointment scheduling, texting communication capabilities, and the full network of Sweetgrass locations across the Charleston Lowcountry.
Dr. Colleen Boylston of Sweetgrass Pediatrics emphasized the significance of this addition, stating that it marks an exciting step in the organization's continued growth along South Carolina's coast. She noted that Dr. Drosieko and her team share Sweetgrass Pediatrics' commitment to exceptional, family-focused care. The integration allows Inlet Pediatrics to maintain its established relationships while expanding the resources available to patients through Sweetgrass Pediatrics' broader network and partnership with US Pediatric Partners.
Dr. Drosieko expressed enthusiasm about the transition, highlighting that becoming part of Sweetgrass Pediatrics enables her practice to continue offering the same trusted care families have relied on while expanding available resources and support. This acquisition represents a significant development in pediatric healthcare accessibility for the Murrells Inlet community, ensuring that comprehensive pediatric services remain available while integrating modern healthcare technologies and specialized services that address both physical and behavioral health needs.
