The Storm Windows' latest release "More Lucky" offers a blend of Americana music with messages of hope and perseverance, marking a significant addition to the 2025 summer music scene.

The Storm Windows, a New York and Vermont-based Americana band, have unveiled their new single and EP, both titled "More Lucky". The title track embodies an optimistic outlook on current challenges, underscored by the mantra "you gotta roll", and features the trio of brothers Rob Mathews on guitar and vocals, Don Mathews on upright bass and vocals, and drummer Erik Anderson, with additional contributions from Dima Faustov and SamSam.
The EP comprises six original tracks that span a wide array of musical styles within the Americana genre. From the folk-inspired "More Lucky" and "I Made a List" to the summer-ready "I'm Going to Memphis" and "We All Have Ghosts", the collection concludes with the rock-infused "I Ain't Finished Yet" and the hopeful "Angel (That Heaven Must Of Sent Down)". These songs serve as anthems for the summer of 2025, blending hope with a quest for improvement.
Following their EP launch event at the Stone Corral Brewery in Richmond, Vermont, on June 21, The Storm Windows are set to perform at the Silver Bay Auditorium on Lake George, New York, on June 28. The band, known for their "New Americana" sound that merges folk, rock, and jazz, continues to draw inspiration from their experiences and musical influences, including the legendary John Prine.
