tonies Targets More Than Double Group Revenue by 2030, Announces International Expansion at First Capital Markets Day

tonies SE, the globally leading interactive audio platform for children, today hosted its first-ever Capital Markets Day, where it outlined its financial ambitions and strategic roadmap for the coming years. The company targets more than doubling group revenue to greater than EUR 1.4 billion by fiscal year 2030 and aims to achieve an adjusted EBITDA margin between 16-18% in the mid-term. This growth ambition is anchored in three mutually reinforcing pillars: building a multi-device ecosystem, winning internationally, and scaling a resilient financial model.

CEO Tobias Wann emphasized the company's global appeal and market opportunity, stating, 'tonies has global appeal and a market opportunity far beyond our current size. We are building a global icon around a platform model that drives subscription-like behavior.' The company's growth strategy includes deploying AI to accelerate localization, compress development cycles, and increase output without proportionate cost over time.

By 2030, the company expects topline growth primarily driven by expanding current activities, with additional contributions from new device developments and new market launches. CFO Hansjorg Müller highlighted the financial model's resilience, noting that tonies has delivered on its guidance every year since its IPO, despite supply chain disruptions, geopolitical instability, consumer restraint, and historic tariff environments.

International expansion remains a key value driver. With significant penetration headroom in existing markets—such as the US, where tonies serves only ~12% of target households compared to ~58% in DACH—and over 570 million addressable households worldwide, the company plans to enter at least two new markets in 2027 and establish presence in all major regions by 2030. Since 2019, tonies has grown its points of sale by more than 30% annually (CAGR) to over 25,000 worldwide.

In addition, tonies announced the launch of its Global Advisory Group, a panel of leading experts in childhood development, education, neuroscience, pediatrics, and family wellbeing. Founding members include Michael Levine, Chrissy Lawler, Dr. Ellen Wartella, Dr. Katharina Meier-Batrakow, and Meredith Halpern-Ranzer. Ginny McCormick, CXO of tonies, explained, 'Our Global Advisory Group reflects our commitment to bringing that expertise into everything we create.'

Within just a few weeks, tonies has launched Hasbro flagship games on Tonieplay, announced bringing Bluey to the Toniebox, and will shortly launch the first products from its collaboration with Pokémon. The company's content portfolio now represents a large portion of the world's leading children's IPs. More details are available in the official release at NewMediaWire.

tonies employs more than 630 people and achieved EUR 630 million in group revenue in fiscal year 2025 (+31% yoy). The company is listed in the SDAX segment of Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
