Trailbreaker Resources Commences Drilling at Swan Zone, Atsutla Gold Project

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) announced the completion of its maiden drill program at the Highlands Zone and the mobilization of the drill to the Swan Zone at its 100%-owned Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia. The Swan Zone represents a copper-gold-silver porphyry target within the Cretaceous Glundebery batholith, distinct from the Highlands Zone, which targeted high-grade vein-hosted gold, silver, and copper. The two zones are located 26 km apart in different geological units.

The diamond drill program at the Highlands Zone consisted of four holes totaling 883.40 meters, testing a strike length of 500 meters and a vertical extent of 412 meters. Details of the Highlands Zone drill target were previously released in a June 29, 2026 news release. With that program completed on schedule and within budget, Trailbreaker has now turned its attention to the Swan Zone.

CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt stated that the Swan Zone has become one of the most compelling targets in the company's portfolio, developed over five years through systematic exploration including detailed geological mapping, soil geochemical surveys, induced polarization (IP) surveys, and airborne magnetic surveys. The Swan Zone drill target is defined within a 1.5 km by 1.5 km multi-element soil geochemical anomaly (gold, copper, silver, arsenic, molybdenum, antimony, bismuth). Rock grab samples from the zone have graded up to 11.7 g/t gold, 212 g/t silver, and 0.81% copper. This geochemical anomaly coincides with a 2.1 km by 1.4 km donut-shaped chargeability high from a 2024 IP survey and a magnetic low signature with elevated potassium from airborne surveys. Despite limited historic drilling in the adjacent valley, the Swan Zone itself has never been drilled.

The diamond drill program at the Swan Zone will target surface geochemical and geophysical anomalies, testing an estimated strike length of 1,000 meters to a vertical depth exceeding 400 meters. The company expects this preliminary program to improve understanding of mineralization controls and the deposit model to support future drill campaigns. Trailbreaker also plans to drill several copper-gold porphyry targets at the Coho property in September 2026, located 30 km northwest of the Mt. Milligan mine in central BC, as detailed in a May 25, 2026 news release.

The Atsutla Gold Project is centered over the regional Teslin-Thibert fault system, marking the contact between the Quesnel and Cache Creek terranes. Gold mineralization is associated with Mesozoic batholithic intrusions. Since discovery in 2020, Trailbreaker has outlined five significant zones: Highlands Zone (gold veins up to 630 g/t Au), Christmas Creek Zone (up to 102 g/t Au), Snook Zone (up to 53.3 g/t Au), Willie Jack Zone (soil anomaly up to 3.77 g/t Au), and Swan Zone.
