Trailbreaker Resources Completes Maiden Drill Program at Swan Zone, Atsutla Gold Project

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) has announced the completion of its maiden drill program at the Swan Zone, part of the company's 100%-owned Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia. The program, which consisted of two holes totaling 801 meters, was designed to test a 1.5 km by 1.5 km multi-element soil geochemical anomaly coincident with a 2.1 km by 1.4 km chargeability anomaly, according to the company's press release.

The Swan Zone is a Cu-Au-Ag porphyry target, distinct from the Highlands Zone, a high-grade vein-hosted gold target located 26 km away. The two zones are hosted in different geological units: the Highlands Zone in the Jurassic Christmas Creek batholith and the Swan Zone in the Cretaceous Glundebery batholith. This first-pass exploratory program at the Swan Zone tested a strike length of 1,000 meters and a vertical extent of 395 meters. The drilling was part of a larger program that also included four holes at the Highlands Zone, totaling 883.40 meters, which tested a strike length of 500 meters and a vertical extent of 412 meters.

All 1,000 drill core samples, including standard reference material and blanks, have been submitted to Bureau Veritas in Whitehorse, Yukon, for assay. Results are pending and will be released after compilation and verification. The company's President, Daithi Mac Gearailt, expressed satisfaction with the program, stating, "This was a well-executed drill program that provided us with an excellent opportunity to finally test two quality targets that we have been developing for the past five years. This was a first-pass, exploratory program, and we achieved our goals while remaining within budget."

The Atsutla Gold Project is centered on the regional-scale Teslin-Thibert fault system, which marks the contact between the Quesnel and Cache Creek terranes. Gold mineralization is associated with two distinct Mesozoic batholithic intrusions. Since discovery in 2020, Trailbreaker has outlined five significant zones of gold mineralization across 26 kilometers, including the Highlands Zone, Christmas Creek Zone, Snook Zone, Willie Jack Zone, and the Swan Zone. The Swan Zone is defined by a soil geochemical anomaly with rock grab samples grading up to 11.7 g/t Au, 212 g/t Ag, and 0.81% Cu, and is further characterized by a donut-shaped chargeability high from a 2024 induced polarization survey and a magnetic low signature from a 2024 airborne survey.

This drilling completion is a critical step in evaluating the project's copper-gold-silver potential, which could significantly enhance the property's value. The company is focused on mining-friendly jurisdictions in British Columbia and Yukon, and this program underscores its commitment to advancing its exploration targets. The results are anticipated with interest as they will provide the first subsurface data on the Swan Zone, potentially confirming the geological model and guiding future exploration.
