Venture Atlanta 2025 Showcases Southeast's Top Tech Companies with Expanded Programming and $375K Investment Prize

Venture Atlanta, one of the nation's largest venture capital conferences, announced the selection of 86 standout tech companies for its 18th annual event scheduled for October 15-16 at The Woodruff Arts Center and Atlanta Symphony Hall. The conference is expected to draw more than 1,600 attendees, including 450 investors from across the country, reinforcing its position as a essential gathering for the Southeast's technology innovation economy. This year's event features expanded programming and enhanced networking opportunities designed to deliver greater value to startups, growth-stage companies, investors, and ecosystem builders.

The 2025 lineup represents the broadest regional representation in the event's history, with companies from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. This comprehensive regional coverage allows investors to connect with the best companies from all 14 Southeast markets in one location rather than traveling to separate events across multiple states. The conference's track record of success is demonstrated by alumni achievements including Flock Safety's $275 million raise, VIVA Finance's $220 million funding, and multiple acquisitions, proving that the Venture Atlanta network drives tangible results.

A significant new feature for 2025 is the Procurement Palooza, which will include a panel and breakout session with 15 procurement leaders from some of the region's largest enterprises. This initiative provides attendees with unprecedented access to decision-makers and real pathways to supplier opportunities. The event has also expanded executive sessions, added curated networking opportunities, and refined the showcase experience to maximize impact for participants. The pitch competition returns for its third year, featuring separate events for early-stage and growth-stage companies, along with the Startup Showcase Live competition for pre-seed and seed-stage companies. The winner of the Startup Showcase Live will receive a $375,000 investment prize funded by Cofounders Capital, Front Porch Venture Partners, Knoll Ventures, and TiE Atlanta Angels. The competition format involves initial pitches voted on by the Venture Atlanta audience, with advancing companies judged by an all-star panel of investors. The event continues to deepen partnerships with leading accelerators, incubators, and venture capital conferences across the Southeast, including the Florida Venture Capital Conference, Capital Factory, gener8tor, Nashville Entrepreneur Center, and many others.

Garrett Langley, Founder & CEO of Flock Safety and a Venture Atlanta alum who pitched in 2020, will serve as this year's keynote speaker. Langley returns to share insights from building Flock into a $7.5 billion safety tech powerhouse, offering valuable perspectives for founders, investors, and innovators.
