Verizon Announces Largest Free Ticket Drop for FIFA World Cup 2026, Including Pitchside Golden Tickets

NEW YORK, NY — Verizon, the Official Telecommunication Services Sponsor for FIFA World Cup 2026™, announced today its largest free ticket giveaway for Verizon customers, offering over 2,500 free tickets across all 64 matches in every U.S. host city. The ticket drop will occur on June 1 at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 12:00 PM PT exclusively through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app. Hundreds of lucky winners will also receive “Golden Tickets” for pitchside access. To mark the announcement, Verizon debuted a new commercial featuring David Beckham, highlighting the “Ultimate Access” to the tournament that Verizon provides.

This is the largest ticket drop to date, and it is designed to give Verizon customers a chance to attend matches close to home. Accounts are limited to claiming tickets for games within 150 miles of their home address. Travel and accommodation are not included. The matches span all 11 U.S. host cities, including Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Atlanta, New York New Jersey, Miami, and Philadelphia. Specific match numbers and times are listed by time zone on the Verizon Access platform.

In addition to the ticket giveaway, Verizon is enhancing the viewing experience with a special offer for new Home Internet customers: three months of FOX One on us. For existing myPlan customers, FOX One can be added as a monthly perk for $15/month, a savings of nearly $5 off the standard retail price. This perk provides live and on-demand content of sports, news, and entertainment.

Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon, emphasized the company's commitment to providing exceptional access: “At Verizon, we’re obsessed with giving our customers access and experiences that are above and beyond. This is our biggest FIFA World Cup ticket drop yet for the most highly anticipated sporting event. And with perks like FOX One, we’re making it easy for our customers to watch the game.”

Verizon is also deploying advanced 5G and fiber technology across all host stadiums and Fan Festivals to power the digital backbone of the tournament. More information on these connectivity upgrades is available on Verizon's website. The ticket drop is a key component of Verizon's sponsorship, aiming to bring fans closer to the action. With the tournament approaching, this initiative represents a significant opportunity for Verizon customers to secure seats at the world's biggest sporting event.
