Verizon is providing YouTube's NFL Sunday Ticket at no extra cost to customers who purchase eligible 5G phones or switch to premium home internet plans, saving up to $480, and launching a new loyalty program with exclusive experiences.

Verizon is kicking off the 2026 NFL season by offering YouTube's NFL Sunday Ticket at no additional cost to customers who purchase eligible 5G phones on select unlimited plans or switch to premium home internet services. The promotion, available from July 30 through September 2, can save customers up to $480. To qualify, new and existing customers must buy an eligible 5G phone and activate a new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus, or switch an existing line to those plans after purchasing a phone. Alternatively, switching home internet to Verizon's Fios Home Internet, 5G Home Ultimate, Verizon Home Internet Lite Extra, or premium Frontier Fiber tiers (1G, 2G, 5G, or 7G) also unlocks the offer. Existing Verizon Home Internet and Simplicity customers can purchase a standalone subscription for $234 or the NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone bundle for $276.
Beyond the Sunday Ticket deal, Verizon is introducing Verizon Shine, a component of its new loyalty program, which provides weekly chances to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Starting the week of August 3, customers can enter via the My Verizon app for an all-expenses-paid trip to see the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints in the first NFL game in Paris. The loyalty program also eliminates activation and upgrade fees and offers Verizon Dollars, allowing customers to earn 3% cash back monthly.
Verizon's offer underscores the growing convergence of telecom and sports streaming, as carriers bundle premium content to retain subscribers. The NFL Sunday Ticket, previously exclusive to DirecTV, moved to YouTube in 2023, and Verizon's partnership expands access to mobile and home internet customers. This strategic move aims to boost plan upgrades and reduce churn ahead of the football season. Customers can sign up at verizon.com/nfl-sunday-ticket-on-youtube-streaming/ or visit a Verizon store.
