VinFast and GSM Appoint New Leaders to Drive Global Expansion

VinFast and GSM have announced significant leadership changes, with Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh assuming the role of CEO of VinFast Global, succeeding Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, while also taking on the positions of Chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan will become Chairman of GSM Global, succeeding Ms. Pham Thu Huong, and Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang will step in as CEO of GSM Global and concurrently CEO of GSM Vietnam. These appointments come as Vingroup and its ecosystem companies accelerate the development of in-house talent and transition leadership to a younger generation, aligning with the system's growth trajectory.

The leadership transitions are critical as both VinFast and GSM enter a period of strong and decisive global growth. Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, born in 1993, holds a Bachelor's degree from Singapore Management University and has held key leadership roles within VinFast and Vingroup. His appointment consolidates ultimate responsibility for VinFast's operations under a single leader, which is expected to streamline decision-making and drive the company's expansion. At GSM, Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, born in 2000, brings experience from senior roles at VinFast, Green Future, VinSmart Future, and GSM. He has also invested in and serves as a major shareholder of several industrial, technology, energy, and infrastructure companies within the Vingroup ecosystem, including VinSpeed, VinEnergo, VinMetal, VinVentures, and robotics companies. His dual role as CEO of GSM Global and GSM Vietnam positions him to drive GSM's green mobility brand, Green SM, which operates in seven countries and plans to expand into at least three more markets this year. GSM is also targeting a transition into a globally scaled public company with shares listed on an international stock exchange.
