Vingroup's dramatic rise in TIME's World's Best Companies 2026 ranking highlights Vietnam's growing corporate influence and the group's strong financial performance and sustainability efforts.
Vingroup has been ranked 340th in TIME's World's Best Companies 2026, a significant leap from its 817th position last year. This nearly 500-place rise places the Vietnamese conglomerate among the world's top 400 companies and underscores its growing global stature. The ranking, conducted by TIME and Statista, evaluates companies on revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency. Vingroup remains the only Vietnamese company to be recognized for two consecutive years, achieving an overall score of 81 out of 100.
The group's outstanding revenue growth was a key factor. In the first half of 2026, Vingroup reported consolidated net revenue of VND 222.9 trillion, up 72% year-on-year, driven by industrial manufacturing and real estate. Consolidated profit after tax reached VND 20.904 trillion, 4.6 times higher than the same period last year and equivalent to 60% of the full-year target. This financial performance earned Vingroup an "Outstanding" rating in the revenue growth dimension.
Employee satisfaction also improved markedly, with Vingroup ranking 398th globally, up 496 places from 2025. The group attributes this to a dynamic work environment that fosters dedication, innovation, and individual development. Over three decades, Vingroup has expanded into new sectors and now operates in 12 countries, employing approximately 400,000 people worldwide.
Sustainability transparency is another area where Vingroup has made strides. The group is advancing green transition initiatives, infrastructure development, and sustainable urban ecosystems. VinFast, its electric vehicle brand, has become Vietnam's top automotive brand by sales volume and aims to deliver 300,000 cars and 1 million electric motorcycles globally in 2026. Vinhomes has pioneered the ESG++ urban model, adding Regeneration and Resilience to the traditional ESG pillars, setting new standards for large-scale urban developments.
In 2025, Vingroup expanded into infrastructure and green energy. Through VinSpeed, high-speed railway projects such as Ben Thanh – Can Gio and Hanoi – Quang Ninh are under construction, while VinEnergo is developing energy projects across multiple localities. These initiatives are expected to enhance regional connectivity, expand economic space, and accelerate the green transition.
Vingroup's recognition follows a series of accolades for its ecosystem brands. VinFast was previously named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies 2024 and Asia-Pacific's Best Companies of 2025. These honors reflect the group's growing influence on the global economic map.
The TIME World's Best Companies ranking, now in its second year, is highly regarded for its credibility. Vingroup's continued inclusion and dramatic ascent signal Vietnam's rising corporate power and the group's successful diversification into high-growth sectors. As Vingroup pursues its ambitious goals in electric vehicles, infrastructure, and green energy, its performance will be closely watched as a bellwether for Vietnam's economic trajectory.
