Vingroup Jumps 11 Spots to 26th in Fortune Southeast Asia 500, Cementing Its Position as Vietnam's Top Private Enterprise

Vingroup's rise in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking reflects its robust growth across key sectors like electric vehicles and real estate, underscoring its increasing influence in the region's shifting economic landscape.

HANOI, VIETNAM – Vingroup has advanced to 26th place in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking, climbing 11 spots from 37th in 2025 and 19 places from 45th in 2024. The conglomerate remains the highest-ranked private enterprise in Vietnam, a position it has held for consecutive years. This marks the third year Fortune has published the regional list, which ranks companies based on total revenue across seven Southeast Asian countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Cambodia.
According to Fortune, Vingroup's revenue reached USD 12,760.6 million in 2025, a 69.1% increase year-on-year. Net profit stood at USD 436.5 million, while total assets grew to USD 42,536.4 million. The ranking highlights companies well positioned to capitalize on shifts in global supply chains and the rapid growth of strategic industries such as electric vehicles and artificial intelligence. Vingroup's diversified operations span Industrials-Technology, Real Estate and Services, Infrastructure, Green Energy, and Culture and Social Enterprises.
Within the Industrials-Technology pillar, VinFast, Vingroup's electric vehicle arm, delivered nearly 200,000 EVs worldwide in 2025, up 102% year-on-year, exceeding its annual target. In the first quarter of 2026, VinFast delivered 58,577 EVs, a 61% increase compared to the same period last year. VinFast's global expansion continues to reinforce its leading position in Vietnam's automobile and electric two-wheeler markets.
Under the Real Estate and Services pillar, Vinhomes maintained its market leadership with 32 residential developments housing approximately 650,000 residents. In 2025, Vinhomes recorded contracted sales of VND 205.3 trillion, up 98% year-on-year, with over 34,000 units delivered. Its unrecognized contracted sales backlog reached VND 186.4 trillion, providing a solid foundation for future growth. Consolidated net revenue totaled VND 153.3 trillion, up 49.8% from 2024. In 2026, Vinhomes launched large-scale urban developments including Vinhomes Global Gate Ha Long (6,200 hectares), Vinhomes Hai Van Bay (512 hectares), and Vinhomes Saigon Park (1,080 hectares).
Vinpearl, Vingroup's hospitality and tourism arm, operates 60 facilities across 20 provinces and cities, with over 17,500 rooms, 15 VinWonders theme parks, six golf courses, and three convention centers. Its live-action performances in Nha Trang and Phu Quoc attract millions of visitors annually.
In infrastructure, VinSpeed has commenced construction on Vietnam's first two high-speed rail projects: the Ben Thanh - Can Gio line in Ho Chi Minh City and the Hanoi - Quang Ninh line. Launched in April 2026, the Hanoi - Quang Ninh route is the country's first interregional high-speed railway, expected to drive economic growth in Northern Vietnam.
In green energy, VinEnergo announced expansion plans across Asia and Europe, backed by a renewable energy project pipeline of 10 GW with secured development agreements. In Vietnam, the company has obtained investment registration certificates for four renewable energy projects.
In social enterprises, VinUniversity became the youngest university in Vietnam to receive the FIBAA Quality Seal in March 2026. Vinmec inaugurated its 10th hospital, spanning over 31,000 sqm with 114 inpatient beds. In May 2026, Vingroup launched V-Film, a film and television production and distribution company, to support a globally integrated Vietnamese film industry.
