Woofie's of North Baltimore-Owings Mills Launches with Community-Focused Grand Opening Events

Woofie's of North Baltimore-Owings Mills is officially celebrating its grand opening of premier pet care services for owners of dogs, cats, and other animals in the Baltimore County area, including Glyndon, Owings Mills, Pikesville, Randallstown, Reisterstown, and Stevenson. The celebration features a series of events the week of September 7th, designed to engage the local community and showcase the company's comprehensive pet care offerings.

The grand opening events include participation in the Reisterstown Festival Parade on September 7th from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., where the grooming spa, team, and furry friends will be present. On September 10th, Woofie's will be at the Northwest Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market at Hilton Garden Inn-Owings Mills from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., offering Farmer's Dog treats and free nail trimming as time permits. The week culminates on September 13th at Baltimore Humane Society DogFest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., where Woofie's will provide an event-specific menu of mini tip-to-tail services available for purchase, showcase its state-of-the-art mobile spa, and give away samples in partnership with Farmer's Dog while supplies last.

Operated by Kelley Gludt and her husband Rob, long-term Baltimore County residents, Woofie's of North Baltimore-Owings Mills builds on two decades of non-profit and early-education leadership. Kelley's 20 years as a rabbi enhances her ability to foster relationships and manage a diverse team of employees. The couple, along with their teenage son and business partner Romi, are committed to serving Baltimore County's diverse people and pet community by offering the best care for pets and owners.

Woofie's provides access to 24/7 vet telehealth services through a collaboration with Pet Vet Connection, giving pet owners peace of mind. This new location joins other Woofie's franchise locations in Maryland, including Columbia, Annapolis, Bel Air, Bethesda, and Gaithersburg. The company is looking to expand its grooming, pet walking, and sitting staff, with applications accepted through the Woofie's website.
