Zachary Bermudez Joins Peapack Private Bank & Trust as Senior Managing Director

Peapack Private Bank & Trust has strengthened its commercial real estate division by appointing Zachary Bermudez as Senior Managing Director. With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, Bermudez will be responsible for managing daily credit and reporting operations while maintaining critical client relationships.

Bermudez's extensive background includes significant roles at prominent financial institutions. He began his career at North Fork Bank in 2003 and subsequently served as Group Director and Senior Vice President at Signature Bank, where he managed comprehensive commercial real estate operations and risk. During his tenure, he helped oversee a substantial $33+ billion commercial real estate loan portfolio.

Most recently, prior to joining Peapack Private Bank & Trust, Bermudez served as Managing Director of A&E Real Estate Finance, a specialized private credit platform. His academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Dowling College and a degree from SUNY Empire State College.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bermudez remains actively engaged in the real estate finance community, serving on the board of The Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University. This commitment suggests he will bring both strategic insight and industry connections to his new role at Peapack Private Bank & Trust.
