For Boerne Independent School District (Boerne ISD), that alignment is reflected in Constellations, a dynamic digital magazine developed through the strategic vision of Boerne ISD and full design execution by Manifestive Design, with stories contributed by leaders, educators, and admins throughout the district.
“The digital publication provides a glimpse into what we’re about, where we’re headed, and why so many families have chosen Boerne and called it home for so many generations,” said Dr. Kristin Craft, Boerne ISD Superintendent.
Serving a growing and high-achieving Texas Hill Country community, Boerne ISD needed more than a publication. The district needed a cohesive communication system, one that could unify voices across campuses while reflecting the pride, excellence, and forward momentum of the entire organization.
The publication includes:
- An overview of the Boerne Advantage and what makes this district so unique
- An inspirational story about every campus in the district, submitted by their respective principals
- A full listing of High School UIL achievements
- A comprehensive district bond update
- Noteworthy achievements throughout Boerne ISD
The written content was developed collaboratively by Dr. Kristin Craft, Dr. Maggie Dominguez, Boerne ISD Executive Director of Communications, and campus principals, ensuring authentic, district-wide representation. Manifestive Design then transformed that content into a visually stunning experience with custom-illustrated constellations representing each campus’s mascot, and a beautiful Boerne ISD galaxy, accurately plotted in relation to the district’s geographic footprint. Every page was carefully crafted to deliver energy, rhythm, and beauty, turning stories into a publication the district can be proud to share.
The Constellations campaign extended far beyond the magazine itself. Boerne ISD announced the first publication at their State of the District event held at the Cana Ballroom in Boerne. Manifestive Design developed a full communication suite to support the launch and ongoing impact of Constellations, including:
- A matching slide deck design for the State of the District presentation, incorporating visual storytelling
- An email newsletter template design to promote the magazine
- A social media post design to amplify reach and engagement
Each deliverable was created within a unified visual framework, ensuring consistency across platforms while allowing individual stories to shine.
