“Partnering with Beeks gives institutions the complete picture: the most capable agentic AI harness in financial markets, running on exchange-grade infrastructure that never lets their data leave their environment.”
Together the companies are launching Beeks Sovereign AI, the first end-to-end agentic AI platform purpose-built for capital markets, an institutional-grade agentic AI solution that runs entirely on infrastructure owned and controlled by the client institution. The deal takes OmniPhi's Agentic Integrated Trading Environment from self-directed traders to the banks, hedge funds, brokers and exchanges that Beeks already serves.
Capital markets firms want AI agents working on their data. Most cannot send that data out to get them. On public AI platforms, every prompt and line of code is processed in the provider's cloud, and for a regulated institution that data is the business. In the Bank of England and Financial Conduct Authority's 2024 survey of UK financial firms, data protection and privacy ranked as the single largest regulatory constraint on AI use.
An LSEG survey of 453 financial services executives found that 84% have already changed their cloud strategies because of data privacy, security and sovereignty rules, and Gartner forecasts worldwide spending on sovereign cloud infrastructure will reach $80 billion in 2026, up 35.6% in a year.
Beeks Sovereign AI brings the agents to the data instead of sending the data to the agents. OmniPhi supplies Phi, its proprietary agentic harness and the intelligence layer that orchestrates AI agents across research, strategy, risk and execution. Beeks supplies GPU-enabled Beeks Proximity Cloud® infrastructure, deployed in colocation or directly on a customer's own site and managed end to end.
"Partnering with Beeks gives institutions the complete picture: the most capable agentic AI harness in financial markets, running on exchange-grade infrastructure that never lets their data leave their environment," said Pouya Farmand, Co-Founder and President of OmniPhi. "The productivity gains available to institutions that can deploy this properly are significant, and we are excited to be delivering that alongside Beeks."
Built by capital-markets veteran Pouya Farmand and theoretical physicist Ali Mokhtari, PhD, OmniPhi launched its agentic trading platform in July 2026. Beeks Sovereign AI brings that engine inside the institution, delivering:
Data Sovereignty: Prompts, code and data stay inside the firm's own environment. Open-weight models, or the firm's own models, run on dedicated GPUs, so no outside model provider ever holds the data.
Fully Managed Infrastructure: Beeks handles the hardware, networking, operating systems, patching and monitoring. The infrastructure is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, with a SOC 2 Type II report for Proximity Cloud.
Research to Live Trading: Phi, the master agent, coordinates teams of specialised agents that research, write readable code, backtest and report. Quant teams deploy the strategies that pass to trade live through their own brokers and order systems.
Phi Inside Existing Systems: Firms can add Phi's agents to the tools they already run, from an OMS panel where traders ask questions to in-house applications, connected to sources such as Bloomberg and Databento.
Controls Outside the Model: Every agent has a named identity and works within a specific person's entitlements. Every action is logged, and no strategy goes live until a person approves it.
"Financial institutions have been watching the AI revolution from the sidelines, not because they don't want to participate, but because public AI platforms simply do not meet their data sovereignty and regulatory requirements," said Gordon McArthur, Chief Executive Officer of Beeks Group. "Beeks Sovereign AI changes that entirely. For the first time, institutions can deploy institutional-grade agentic AI on infrastructure they own and control, managed end to end, without any compromise on compliance or performance. We are proud to partner with OmniPhi to bring this to market and to invest in what we believe is a genuinely transformative technology for capital markets."
The partnership carries the same principle that defines OmniPhi for individual traders: the user sets the mandate, and Phi acts only inside it. For institutions, that mandate now extends to where the data lives. Beeks' platforms support more than 30 of the world's largest financial institutions, and its Exchange Cloud® runs for eight exchanges.
Beeks Sovereign AI will be available for deployment in colocation or on-premise across all asset classes and institution types, with launch set for the third quarter of Beeks' 2027 financial year. Institutions can arrange a demo with the OmniPhi and Beeks teams at omniphi.tech.
About OmniPhi
OmniPhi is building the agentic operating system for markets. Its Agentic Integrated Trading Environment (AITE) serves traders and capital markets firms. Emerging from stealth in 2026, the company's platform delivers a unified workspace where agents, charts, research, backtesting, code, and live execution share a single memory. At its centre is Phi, an agentic harness that coordinates specialised AI agents across research, strategy development, backtesting, deployment and risk. Driven by natural language and bounded by strict, user-defined risk parameters, Phi writes readable code, runs the analysis and operates strategies within the limits each trader or firm sets. Institutions can run Phi on infrastructure they control through Beeks Sovereign AI. OmniPhi never holds user funds, routing all execution through official broker APIs and the order systems each firm connects. OmniPhi is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
