Featured Brings Always-On PR Automation to Its Free Plan

Users can set up a workflow by going to featured.com/workflows, selecting a workflow, and filling in three fields: what to look for, when to receive it, and where to send them.

Users can also create a workflow by typing a single sentence into Featured Chat, such as,

“Send me HARO requests about small business finance every morning in Slack.”

Workflows are configured in plain language rather than search syntax, with scheduling options that include hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or a custom cadence. Results can be delivered by email or to a connected Slack channel. Once saved, the workflow runs automatically on its configured cadence and sends matched results to the user.

What Featured Workflows monitor (12 workflow types):

• Journalist Requests: Source requests from HARO, Connectively, Substack, and X matched to a user's expertise, with deadlines.
• Monitor HARO: Alerts on HARO queries that match a user's expertise across HARO's three daily editions.

• Find Journalists: Self-updating media lists of writers covering a specific beat, including new bylines.

• Awards: Recognition programs relevant to a user's industry, with upcoming deadlines.
• Media Mentions: Editorial coverage of a brand, person, or topic across news, blogs, podcasts, and YouTube.
• Competitor Visibility: Coverage earned by competitors, surfaced as pitching opportunities.
• GEO / AI Visibility: Runs a brand's prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini to track changes in AI citations.
• All-in-One: A single workflow covering journalist requests, HARO, podcasts, journalists, bylined articles, awards, and speaking events.

Availability and pricing: Featured Workflows are available on every Featured plan, including Free. Free users can run Workflows until they reach the day's usage allowance; workflows then pause and resume when usage resets the next day. Lite is $29 per month and Pro is $79 per month when billed annually, with higher usage allowances on paid plans.

Unlike automated outreach tools, Featured Workflows stop at the opportunity. They monitor and notify users, but do not automatically contact journalists, podcast hosts, publishers, or event organizers. A human remains in the loop to review each opportunity and decide whether and how to respond.
